Obituary

Albert Lee (affectionally known as "BOSSMAN") Lindsey Jr. was born August 24, 1959 to Beatrice and Albert Lee Lindsey Sr. in Florence, South Carolina.

He was educated in the Florence County School System. He loved lifting weights, body building and playing basketball. He was a former member of Bethel Apostolic Church under the leadership of the late Bishop U. I. McCall. He later moved to Winston Salem, NC and he joined Christ Rescue Temple Apostolic Church. He was baptized in the name of Jesus and received the gift of the Holy Ghost in 1984. He was an active member until the time of his death.

He was employed with the Thomasville Furniture Company and The City of Winston Salem which he retired from in 2021.

He married Deborah L. Davis, November 18, 1983 and to this union six children was born. He was a protector, a provider, a hard worker, loyal, honest and a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a devout Christian. He was a servant to many, just to name a few: United Churches of Jesus security, Christ Rescue Temple security and Bishop Willie Davis Jr. security. He had a love for Quartet Music which he sang with several groups. He was an avid fan of the "Dallas Cowboys". "How bout dem Cowboys!!"

Mr. Lindsey departed this life Friday August 19, 2022.

He leaves to cherish his memories; His wife of 38 years, Deborah D. Lindsey; four sons, Cory (Temicka) Davis, Albert III,  Demetre, (Fort Smith, Arkansas), and Rashad Lindsey; two daughters, Jacqueline and Crystal Lindsey; six grandchildren, Tiani, Brianna, Bryce and Corinna Davis, Jackson and Carter Glenn; mother, Beatrice Israel Ballard (Savannah, GA); brother, Timothy Ballard (Regina) from Barstow, CA; sisters, Jada Ballard Hazelton (Savannah, GA), Jacqueline Jordan, Naomi Ballard Hines, Carol Kelly, Barbara Lowery and Cherry Joseph all from Florence, SC; father-in-law, Bishop Willie Davis Jr.; brothers-in-law, Bishop Clive C. (Sharon) Davis, Willie III (Gina) Davis from McDonough,GA; sisters-in-law, Darleen (Emmanuel)  Kotey and Rhonda (Dwayne) Pearson from Richmond , VA; and  a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.
