Alice Faye Shouse Jones entered into eternal rest Saturday February 12, 2022.

Alice Faye Shouse Jones was born January 7, 1938 a native of Bethania, North Carolina.

Alice Faye received her education through Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools. She graduated from Carver High School. Shortly after Alice moved to Hempstead New York where she attended Nursing School and worked in Medical Field after she married. She had a son Lance, her only son who preceded in death while serving in the Army during Desert Storm. (We Honor Lance). It was after that Alice purchased a home here in Winston-Salem with the desire to reconnect with family. She was dedicated to taking place where her brother Ralph left off in reuniting the family. She loved to cook, dance and go to the casinos. Ger favorite saying everyday was "God is Good." She loved her family roots in Bethania, NC

Alice was preceded in death by her only son, Lance; brother William Ralph Shouse; mother Laura Austin, and father James Shouse.

Alice leaves to mourn one sister, Ann Shelton of Winston-Salem, NC; two nephews, Pastor Kelvin (Cheryl) Shouse of High Point, NC AND Kenneth (Keziah) Shouse of Belmont, NC; two nieces, Kimberly Shouse and Duan(Elder Dennis) Little who faithfully served as her caretakers all of Winston-Salem, NC; a host of great nieces, great nephews other family and friends including special friends. Rob, Anna, Mary, Mildred and Liz. We will cherish her life and legacy.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:30 pm Sunday February 20, 2022 in the chapel of Hooper Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm-1:30pm Sunday. Her remains may be viewed Saturday from 12pm-6pm at the funeral home.
