Mr. Alvin Leon Clark was born July 11, 1962 to Nathaniel and Delray Duren Clark in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He attended the Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools and was a 1980 graduate of East Forsyth High School. Mr. Clark was a former chef at Cactus Jacks and Mr. Steaks. He loved music, plants and was very artistic. His favorite football team was the LA Raiders. He kept a smile on his face and his favorite motto was "Family is all we got."
Alvin was preceded in death by his parents, and a twin brother, Calvin Levon Clark.

He departed this life Wednesday March 16, 2022 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist.

He is survived by a daughter, Tiffiany Bethea; a son. Calvin Mackey; four grandchildren, Javariey Bethea, Jaquarus Scales, Jakaria Bethea Scales and Jacacien Scales; two brothers, Melvin(Sharon) Clark, and Anthony(Enid) Clark; one sister, Linda Clark; a host of aunts and uncles; two nephews, James(Cheryl) Clark who was like a son , and Jerrod Bethea; two nieces, NaToya Myers and Sherrill Clark; a host of other relatives and special friends who has been with him throughout the years.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday March 26, 2022 in the chapel of Hooper Funeral Home.
