Annie Bynum Mickle Penn McRae

Annie Bynum Mickle Penn McRae, at the age of 88, left us peacefully on July 28, 2026, at the Piney Grove Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Formerly residing at 125 Ferrell Heights Court, her loving spirit and enduring warmth have left an indelible mark on those who knew her.

The celebration of Annie's life will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, August 10, 2026, at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory. A time for reflection and gathering will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the church, leading into the service. Following the celebration, Annie will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, August 9, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home, allowing all whose lives she touched to bid farewell.

Annie’s grace and compassion will remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind, cherished and remembered always.
