Mr. Anthony Tyrone Potter was born of September 16, 1960, to the late Mr. Rufus Potter, Sr. and Mrs. Mary Florence Potter in Forsyth County. He took flight from this earthly home to his heavenly home on Wednesday, July 20, 2022.
Mr. Potter attended the Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools and was an employee of the Merita Bakery of Winston Salem and well known in the city.
He was preceded in death by his son, LaMont Evans, his parents Mr. & Mrs. Rufus Potter, Sr., three sisters Mary Lee Pollard, Linnie Wyche, and Wanda Jane Potter. In addition, four brothers; Rufus Potter, Jr., Thomas Smith Potter, Elder Carl Potter, and Reginald Potter.
Mr. Potter leaves to cherish precious and lovely memories, one daughter, Tamika De'vay Rosemond, one son, Chaz Rosemond, both of the city. Four grandchildren, Ba'Nysia Rosemond, Chavis Rosemond, Chazz Jamar'Le Rosemond, Bre'Yanah Rosemond, and Chanon Rosemond. Five sisters Martha Lee Chapman (Johnny), Lille Mae Stone (Hilton), Blondella Johnson Parks (James), both of the city. Betty Jean Wilson of Oxen Hill, Maryland and Verdeen Brown of Lakeland, Florida. One Brother, Mr. Johnny MC Potter of the city.
He leaves to cherish devoted friends, Miss Roslyn Gary and mother of children, Marilyn Ukpabi , a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many many spiritual and devoted friends.
Mr. Potter love for her family, and all the lives he touched will be greatly missed, but the sweet humble memories of him will live forever.
Funeral services will be held 3pm Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022 in the Hooper Funeral Home chapel.
