Aurelia W. Kennedy, 82, affectionately known as "TOOTS' passed away peacefully after an extended illness. She was born in Forsyth County to the late Sam and Ruth Watkins.

She retired from ILCO Unican on Indiana Avenue.

Ms. Kennedy is survived by her daughters, Helene T. Kennedy and LayPrecious (Gary) Graves; one sister Martha Williams; five brothers,  Calvin, Ray Bernard, Ruben and James Watkins; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30am Saturday November 23, 2019 in the chapel of  Hooper Funeral Home with Bishop Todd Fulton Sr., officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11:00am-11:30am at the funeral home.
