Mr. Bernard Franklin Cook was born August 25, 1962 to the late Bernard Deberry and Annie Ruth Cook in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  He  was a lifelong resident of the city where he worked in construction. Mr. Cook attended the Winston-Salem Forsyth county schools and was a graduate of West Forsyth High School.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sheila Cook and uncles, TREASURE, Cook, James C. Cook and Willie C. Jones.

He departed this life Tuesday December 26, 2023 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hospital.

Mr. Cook is survived by two brothers, Darrel(Kim) Cook and Kenneth Cook; children; two aunts, Catherine (Marshall) Brown and Addie (Vinson) Wagner;  one uncle, Eugene (Bessie) Cook; a host of nieces, nephews, including a devoted niece, Natese Cook; other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held 12:00 pm Saturday December 30, 2023 Visitation, 11:30am-12:00pm at Greater Galilee Baptist Church.
