Carlos DeMarcus Moore

Mr. Carlos DeMarcus Moore departed this life unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 3rd 2026. Carlos was born on May 22nd 1988 in Forsyth County, NC to Tressa Johnson.

Carlos was a loving son, grandson, brother, and friend whose kind heart touched everyone he met. He enjoyed church, music, car rides, family gatherings, and his favorite Burger King whoppers. Known for his bright smile, strong faith, sense of humor, and gentle spirit, Carlos brought joy to those around him and will be deeply missed by all who loved him.

He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Tressa Johnson; godmother, Diane Whitley; father, Carlos Miller; stepfather, Rory Johnson; sisters, Destiney Johnson and Gabrielle Miller; brothers, Tyler Grimes and Geremiah Whitley; uncles, Joey (Barbara) Moore, Wesley (Sherri) Moore, Girard Miller, and Brian Miller; a special cousin, Tia Bennett; a special aunt, Eula (Willette) Hawes; his beloved dog-nephew, Kee; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and many friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:30 am Saturday, June 13th, 2026 at Hooper Funeral Home, 1415 East 14th Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27105. The family will receive friends from 11am-11:30am
