Mr. Charlie Jones (Chicken) Reynolds III, born June 4, 1938 and accepted his wings to be with the Lord on Friday July 31, 2020. He was born to Charlie Jones Jr. and Rosa Lee Reynolds.

Mr. Reynolds retired from RJR Tobacco Company after many years of service. He was an active member of the Shiloh Baptist Church, the Seventh Day Ephesus Church, and Central YMCA.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother Mrs. Edna Jones, Grandmother Mrs. Fannie J. Haney, her husband Mr. Walter Haney, Sr., Grandfather Charlie Jones Sr., brothers Curtis Jones, Edward Jones, Jimmie Harroway; and sister Marie Harroway.

Charlie was an amusing individual, that loved going to church, and was a loving brother and friend.  He loved "good" gospel singing especially singing by his favorite, The Big Four Choir.

Survivors include sisters, Marcia Jones, Christine Jones, and Linda McGill, several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, friend Mary Williams, and Woodrow Haney & Family.

A public viewing will be held Thursday August 6, 2020 from 12 pm-6 pm at Hooper Funeral Home. Funeral services will be private. Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery.
