Ms. Cheryl  Lynn Pollard was born August 2, 1960 to the late Bobby Dillard and Rosa Lee Pollard in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was a lifelong resident of the city and attended the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her grandmother Juanita P. Chandler. Ms. Pollard departed this life Friday August 27, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center.

She is survived by her children, Fernando Pollard, Dwayne Pollard, LeKendro(Tamika) Pollard and LaTempis Pollard all of Winston-Salem, NC; grandchildren, Deonte Potter, D'Qua Carter, D'Quzin Carter, Juan Pollard Roberts, Dwayne Pollard Jr. Jailaiya Pollard, Arienna Pollard, LaKendro Pollard Jr and Tamarion Pollard; one great grandchild, Dream Williams; devoted friends, Bishop Claude (Virginia) Turner; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday September 4, 2021 in the chapel of Hooper Funeral Home. A public viewing will be held Friday September 3, 2021 from 12pm-6pm at Hooper Funeral Home.
