Christopher Le Hopkins II, aka "Loyalty", "Kyng Iyuga Hopkins" was born January 8, 1989 in Winston Salem, NC to the late Christopher Lee Hopkins Sr. and Pamela Irby.

He was brought up as a member of Union Baptist Church in Winston-Salem and faithfully participated with the youth choir, step team, and security team.  Though residing in Walkertown, he grew up in Winston-Salem where he attended the Winston-Salem Forsyth County schools and was a 2007 graduate of Carver High School. He played Pop Warner baseball and was a member of Carver High Schools football team. He was a prize winning poet, ghost writer , professional protective servicer, experienced cook with Aramark Food Services and an artist with Maldon Records.

Chris departed from us very unexpectedly; a great loss to us all. He was a protective, strongly-loving spirit for anyone who showed him love and support. His greatest love and passion was his son, Sincear Hopkins. His second love was his family, music, and friends. If you ever needed a good laugh, you knew to call Chris.

He was preceded in transition by his father, Christopher Lee Hopkins, Sr.

He is survived by his son, Sincear Hopkins; mother Pamela Irby; brother Perry Hopkins (Peyton & Teagan); stepmother Tina Hopkins of Cornelius, NC; aunts, Terri Chargois, Traci Addison (Timothy) of Pittsboro, NC and  Lillie Irby-McMillan (Jerry); uncles John Irby Sr.(Beverly) Edward Irby (Joyce) and  James Irby (Felicia);   great aunt, Elma Hopkins; cousins, Angela Reaves (Ricky), Patricia Marshall (Odell) and Kennia Hall; and many devoted and loving friends.

The family will receive friends 12:30pm Saturday, March 18 ^th in Hooper Funeral Home chapel with the funeral service following at 1pm.
