Obituary

Colonel McDonald Glenn was born September 10, 1960 in Winston Salem, NC to the late Fred and Lela Banks Glenn, Sr. Mr. Glenn lived most of his life in Winston Salem but most recently, had resided in Greensboro. He attended Diggs School and was an avid runner. Mr. Glenn loved to listen to music and his favorite singer was Aretha Franklin. He met no strangers and loved to talk to everyone. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Fred Glenn, Jr. and brother-in-law Kim Sharpe.

Mr. Glenn departed this life April 5, 2022 at his residence.

Survivors include his devoted sister, Mrs. Maggie Sharpe and her son, Kentay; a great nephew, Joel Sharpe Hayes; other relatives and dear friends.

Graveside rites will be held 2:30pm Wednesday, April 20, 2022 in Piedmont Memorial Gardens.

Colonel was loved dearly and now has gone to be with mom, dad and the Lord. I'll see him soon.
