Craig Lerrington Gordon was born November 5, 1982, and concluded his earthly journey on August 23, 2025.    At age 3, Craig was diagnosed with Autism.  He surpassed expectations associated with this lifelong neurological and developmental condition by not just thriving but excelling in everyday activities and functions as any other person without this condition.  Born to loving parents, Toni Gordon and Calvin (Boyzie) Gordon, throughout his life he always had the full support of not only his mother and father but a host of caring family and friends.

Craig's parents were determined to supply their son with every opportunity and advantages that they could connect with to ensure he lacked nothing.  Craig always met his parent's expectations by excelling in every program, courses, etc., that they could connect him in.  He did well from elementary to high school with high marks in his classes.  Craig graduated from North Shore High School, Houston, TX, in 2004 and enrolled in the Vocational Advancement and Skill Training (VAST) program at Houston Community College where he scored high enough on the entry exam to enroll in regular classes.  He remained in the VAST program completing it in 2008 which gave him the 4-year college experience.

Craig was a whiz at computer games that he enjoyed tremendously matching his skills with those of others as he played games with friends and family members online regularly.

Survived by his mother,Toni Jones Gordon, father, Calvin (Boyzie) Lerrington Gordon, grandmother, Betty C. Jones, and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins-----sisters Zoe Gordon and Rolika Gordon Clark and brother Jordan Gordon.

A service in his memory will be held at 1:00 pm Friday September 5, 2025 in the chapel of Hooper Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:30pm-1:00pm on that day at the funeral home.
