Mr. Dannie Singletary was born September 10, 1957 in Lake City, South Carolina to Herbert and Lena Mae Singletary. He was called home on Tuesday, November 29, 2022.

Spiritually he was a faithful member of Salvation Church of the First Born. He was employed with the Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools as a bus driver.

Dannie was preceded in death by his father Herbert Singletary; mother Lena Mae Singletary, brothers Leroy Singletary and Levi Singletary.

Dannie leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 34 years Mary Singletary; children, Scottie Spruill of Winston-Salem, NC and Ronnie Spruill of Atlanta, GA; siblings, Geneva Singletary, Herbert Singletary Jr., Ervin Singletary, Kenneth (Mary) Singletary, William(Jennifer)Singletary and Howard(Michelle) Singletary; two grandchildren, Promize Spruill and Micaiah Spruill; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday December 3, 2022 in the chapel of Hooper Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:30pm-2:00pm at the funeral home Saturday. Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery Walkertown, NC.
