Mr. David Kerry Wilson passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022. He was born October 25, 1967 in Winston-Salem, NC to the late Arthur and Mary Ruth Wilson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandmother, Maggie Hairston Estes; two sisters, Sadie Reavis and Esther Hairston; three brothers, Alvin Wilson, Anthony Estes and Arthur Estes.

David graduated from Mount Tabor High School in 1987 and attended Forsyth Technical College. He earned his Class B CDL and enjoyed driving and working on tractor trailers. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a kind, loving, and very respectful son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend. He enjoyed going to the beach with his family, appreciating the tranquil sounds of the ocean while relishing one of his favorite delights: eating seafood. David was an avid UNC Tarheels fan, and also liked watching the Carolina Panthers.

David leaves behind to cherish in his memory, a loving and devoted sister, Linda Estes Richardson (Marion) of Winston-Salem; a brother, Darryl Wilson of Winston-Salem; another sister Katherine Allen, Statesville, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 12:30pm Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at St. Andrews UMC . Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will received friends from 12pm-12:30pm at the church.
