Mrs. Debbie Lavern Bradley Cox Werts was born June 10, 1962 to Rosa Lee Bradley and Eddie Lee Cross in Winston-Salem North Carolina. She attended the Winston Salem Forsyth County Schools. She transitioned from earth to glory on November 5, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. Debbie was a homemaker who loved to cook big meals for her family to come over and eat.  She was predeceased by her mother and father and sister, Sylvia Ann Young .

She leaves to cherish fond memories to her spouse, Willie Werts; one daughter, Talethia Bradley; two sons, Travis Cox and Dedrick Tomlin; eleven grandchildren; two sisters, Effie Young of Winston-Salem, NC  and Lisa Horne of Maryland; three brothers. Eddie Lee Cross Jr. of Winston-Salem, NC, Vester Lee Grant of Tempe, AZ  and Gary Cross of Maryland; stepmother, Lena Cross of Maryland; five aunts, Mary C. Bradley of Upper Marlboro, MD, Mary H. Bradley, Constance Bradley, Minister Arzaia Bradley Thomas all of Winston-Salem, NC and Cornelia Bradley of Charlotte, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Debbie also leaves her adopted family that included everyone she knew.

A private memorial service will be held.
