Delores Alma Fielder Thomas was born to the late James and Connie Fielder in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on December 20, 1927. She attended Atkins High School and Winston-Salem State University. After many years of dedicated service, she retired from Baptist Hospital. Baptized at an early age, she was a faithful member and Mother of the Church at Genesis Victory Outreach Center since its inception. Mother Thomas could always be found adorned in a beautiful hat on the second row and was the visionary behind the Women's Day Tea. Not only was she the mother of the church, she was mother to eleven children, thirty grandchildren, many great- grandchildren, a number of great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, countless cousins and her Genesis Victory Outreach Family.
