DELORIS MYERS GORDON

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Deloris Myers Gordon. Mother "Lois" as she was affectionately called was born in Aiken, South Carolina on October 24, 1949 and departed for heaven with wings on November 15, 2020.  Lois loved attending church and most recently attended Open Door Baptist Church.  She had an infectious personality and cared deeply for others, especially her family.  Her favorite saying was "how you doing?".  On most days, Lois could be found in the recreation room of the Danby House stirring up conversation or watching her favorite judge shows.  Lois is preceded in death by Emma Nesbit (mother), Simon Gordon (partner), and Angela Gordon (daughter).  She leaves to cherish her memory her sons Earl Gordon and Jerry Gordon (Holly); her grandchildren Myles Gordon and Camryn Gordon; and a host of other family members and friends.

We love you.  We miss you.  We know you are in a better place.  May God continue to provide grace and mercy to all whom have loved and lost.
