DeShaud Christian Capers was born April 14, 2005 to Crystal Capers and James Maurice George in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

He attended the Winston-Salem Forsyth County public schools.

DeShaud was a lover of music. He especially loved his family whom he cherished dearly.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Bridgetta Capers Jones and paternal grandfather James Wilds.

He departed this life unexpectedly on Sunday morning August 3, 2025.

DeShaud is survived by his parents, Crystal Capers of the home; father James Maurice George of the city; siblings, Cherie Capers, Jada Capers, Sharmear Capers, Jarvis Capers, Makhi George, Malik Scott and Angelina George; paternal grandmother, Joannie George; maternal grandfather, James Jones; aunts, Shutorra(Chad) Wold, Catia George and Charlene George; uncles, Rico Capers and  Monte Capers; a host of other great aunts and great uncles; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
