Destiny Kamara Tucker, 27, was born October 7, 1997 in Winston Salem, NC to Elizabeth Tucker and Komar Jenkins. Destiny departed this life September 11, 2025.

In her younger years she enjoyed drawing. And during high school, she proudly played basketball for the Parkland High School Lady Mustangs. Destiny was charismatic and full of life, always ready with a joke to bring laughter to those around her. She loved shopping, staying stylish in the latest fashions, and was truly the life of the party. Destiny's unforgettable energy and spirit made her a familiar face around town.

Destiny was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Charles Tucker and Roosevelt Givens.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving parents, Elizabeth Tucker and Komar Jenkins; sisters, Charrita tucker and Aya Perez; her grandmothers, Rita Maxwell-Tucker and Estella Givens who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts; her aunt, Aretha "Ann" Tucker; uncle, Jacques Jenkins; great aunt, Cathy Stocks; cousins, Malcolm Tucker, Terra and Tiffany Stocks, and Jacques Jenkins, Jr.; and a devoted friend whom Destiny called her sister, Jasmine Rorie; other relatives and friends,

Though Destiny has left this earthly life too early, we find comfort in knowing she is at peace, resting in the arms of the Lord. Her memory will continue to be a blessing and a source of strength to all who loved her.

A service celebrating her life will be conducted 11am Friday, September 19th at Goler Memorial AME Zion Church with family vistation preceding at 10:30am.
