Obituary

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Elizebeth Ann Mackey known as Ann ,age 81 who lived in Winston Salem, NC; who passed away on Saturday, September 12th, 2026; at Trellis Supportive Care.

Ann was born on July 24th, 1945 to parents Dorothy Pace Mackey and Ira Lee Mackey Sr.

Ann attended schools in Forsyth county where she graduated high school. She retired from Winston Salem State University as a Custodian/Housekeeper.

In her life she enjoyed taking care of people , cooking and always lending a helping hand to people who needed it.

She will be reunited in heaven with her parents Dorothy Pace Mackey, Ira Lee Mackey Sr. Also, three brothers Ronnie, Ira Lee,Robert, and one sister Doris.

She leaves cherished special memories with : her aunt Ernestine Lash , nephew Cedric Barksdale, great nieces Brittany and Brianna Bailey and a host of other family and friends.
