Obituary

On April 22, 2022, the Lord called Ellie Ford home, for his work here on Earth was done.  He was born in Marion, SC on April 30, 1964 to Hazel Ford and Jack Shaw.  Mr. Ford was a very loving husband, stepfather, grandfather, friend, and mentor.  He was kind and respectful to everyone he came across. He was a very diligent worker and never liked to miss a day of work, but he knew how to have fun.  Ellie  always had a smile on his face and a good story to tell you.  He was a very straight forward man and told you the truth and what was on his mind.  He was a simple man and liked to get straight to the point.  He had a very big heart and an even bigger personality.  He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and everyone that knew him.  Mr. Ford was preceded in death by his mother Hazel Ford; father Jack Shaw; and ten siblings.

He leaves behind his wife Hattie Ford;  three stepchildren and their children; Michele Williams (Jessica, Ricky, Kassandra), Betty(Bobby) Williams (Tiffany, Bobby, and Natasha), and Bertha Hermeney (Christopher, Shekiera, and Tierney); three siblings,  Ira Ford, Rosalee Ford-Mullins, Reverend Bobby Shaw; nieces and nephews including a close nephew, Jeffery Nelson; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, brother-in-law and a host of other relatives and friends.
