Mrs. Florine O'Neal King was born November 4, 1941 in Dublin, Georgia to Herschel and Magnolia Ford O'Neal. She was a graduate of the public schools there. She resided in Winston-Salem, NC most of her life and was a retiree of Adele Knits.

Spiritually, she was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church where she worked with the Missionary Board and Choir.

Mrs. King was an avid gardener and cook. She adored her grandchildren. She loved to watch football and was a fan of the Carolina Panthers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Mack R. King, Sr.; sisters, Hattie Mae Taylor, Estoria Smith, Eula Pearl Terry, Ethel Thomas and Doretha Coley; brothers, Johnny Ford, Eugene O'Neal, Willie Frank O'Neal, Sr., and Herschel Lee O'Neal; grandchildren: Kenyon King and Vivica King.

Mrs. King departed this life Monday August 21, 2023 at her residence.

She leaves to cherish loving memories to her children: Vivian A. King-Blue, of the home, Mack R. King, Jr. (Marie), Salisbury, NC, Ronald W. King (Iris) Wake Forest, NC, Kenneth S. King, I. (Veronica) Kernersville, NC; grandchildren: Keyonna Jones, Desmond Clemons-King, Rashad Blue (Keyeria), Mack King III, Shae King, Shanelle King, Davida Blue, Kendall Blue, Anoree King, Kenneth King, II, and Keenen King; great grandchildren: Juelz Clemons, KaMarion Clemons, KeShae Clemons, Mai King, Nafiys King, Zamir King, Jyaire Blue, Jailyn Blue, Jaidah Blue, and Jzaiah Blue; brother, Pastor Frank (Leola) O'Neal, Dublin,GA; sisters: Dorothy Wells, Dublin, GA, Corine Manning, Winston-Salem, NC, and Janice (Danny) Pittman, Dublin, GA; brothers- in-law: Felton Coley, Winston-Salem, NC, and Walter Thomas, Dublin, GA; sisters in-law: Mildred O'Neal, Winston-Salem, NC, Ella Mae O'Neal, Dublin GA; and Bernestine Thomas, Farmville, VA, and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, former daughter in laws, and friends

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Saturday August 26, 2023 at Shiloh Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm-2:30pm. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. Her remains may be viewed Friday August 25, 2023 from 12pm-6pm at the funeral home.
