Mrs. Frances Alice Braddy Cole known as "Punch" was born to Clarence and Maggie Stewart Braddy on March 13, 1942, in Old Town (Forsyth County) N.C. She peacefully transitioned to glory on June 26, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Francine Cole Maddox, two brothers, Clarence Braddy and Lester Braddy and two sisters. Maggie Louise Braddy Ross and Juanita Braddy Lowery.

Frances attended the local public schools. She retired from R.J. Reynolds as a Quality Control Specialist after 22 years of service. For many years, she was an active and dedicated member of Second Calvary Baptist Church and served on the usher board and other roles within the church.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, Joel Cole Sr. who loved her dearly;two sons, Joel Cole Jr (Tamiko) and William Cole; 5 grandchildren, Tina Johnson (Nasion), Donovan Cole, William Cole Jr., Joel Cole III, Saliah Rice and 8 great grandchildren; sisters-in-Iaws, Barbara Surratt, Shelby NC, Emma Ingram, Ann C. Galloway, Ruby Griffin, Gwendolyn R. Cole, all of Winston-Salem, NC;
brother-in-law, Roger Lowery and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Saturday July 2, 2022 at Second Calvary Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 1:30pm-2:00 pm at the church. Online condolences may be sent to www.hooperfuneralhome.net.
