Mr. Freddie Lee Wilson was born February 3, 1953 in Chesterfield, SC to the late Leggette and Lucille McBride Wilson. He attended the public schools of Albemarle, NC.

Mr. Wilson was a resident of Winston-Salem for most of his life. He worked for the city and was later employed by Redding Plumbing Company.

Spiritually Mr. Wilson was a devoted member of Living Witness Church where he worked faithfully. In the community, he loved helping those in need.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings. Mr. Wilson departed this life Tuesday May 7, 2024 at Trellis Supportive Care Center.

He leaves cherished memories to his wife of the home, Patricia A. Wilson; children, Freddie L.Wilson Jr., Patricia Abram (Michael), Daniel Durant and Malaysia Wilson; one grandchild, Jewel Floyd; two sisters, Rosa Johnson(Ronnie), Carolyn Ann Wilson; one brother, Levon Wilson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday May 16, 2024 in the chapel of Hooper Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:30pm-2:00 pm at the funeral home.
