Mr. George Quincy Cundiff, Jr., aka "GG" was born March 1, 1956 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to the late George Sr. and Betty Jean Martin Cundiff.  He was a graduate of the Winston-Salem Forsyth county public schools. Mr. Cundiff was of the Methodist faith.  He was a veteran of United States Navy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Elrico Cundiff.  Mr. Cundiff was a well known drummer all over the city. He departed this life Friday October 11, 2019 at the W. G. (Bill) Hefner VA Medical Center, Salisbury, NC .

Survivors include seven children; Renard Lyons, Natesha Simmons Reyes, George(Valan) Cundiff, III, Quinton Cundiff, Brendan Cundiff,  Bianca Cundiff and Neshea Cundiff; seven grandchildren; one great granddaughter; one sister, Teraya Paige; three nephews; one uncle William Cundiff; one aunt, Joan Render; a host of other relatives and  friends including, devoted friends Donnell Oliver, Marvin King and Gerald Tuffin.

Funeral services  will be conducted at 3:00 pm Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at First Church of God On Christ, 635 Ontario Street Winston-Salem, NC . The family will receive friends from 2:30 pm-3:00 pm at the church.
