Gladys Reynolds, 94 , was born September 20, 1926 in Winston-Salem , NC to Nathaniel and Alberta Reynolds. She transitioned to her heavenly home peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday , April 25, 2021. Ms. Reynolds was a graduate of Atkins High School . She retired from Forsyth Hospital and was also a dedicated volunteer at A Better World Learning Center , Inc . Spiritually, she was a lifelong member of St . Andrews United Methodist Chu r ch where she served as Communion Stewardess , the United Method i st Women, and in the Sunday School department . She enjoyed sewing , gardening , and traveling.

Ms. Reynolds was preceded in death by her parents , Nathaniel and Alberta Reynolds ; sisters, Margaret Welch , Ruby Reynolds; brothers, Logan Reynolds, Ernest Reynolds; daughter Patsy (Woodrow) Bruton. She left many memories with her family which include her children, Eleanor (Robert) Morrison , Amanda Donaldson, Cynthia Ingram , and William Ingram; sister, Nancy (Ulysses) Hunter, brother Leroy (Rosa) Reynolds ; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; eight great great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces , nephews , cousins, and family friends. A public viewing will be held from 12pm-6pm Thursday April 29, 2021at Hooper Funeral Home. Funeral services will be private.  Interment Piedmont Memorial Gardens.
