Mr. Harold Lee Gordon Sr. 72 peacefully departed this life Sunday October 12, 2025 at his residence following a period of illness.

He was born March 19, 1953 to the late Luther and Annie Bell Gordon. Harold was formally educated in the Winston Salem Forsyth County School System and was a graduate of Reynolds High School. Harold also received and Associate Degree from  Forsyth Technical Community College.

Harold proudly served his country in the United State Army. Following his service, he built a long and fulfilling career at Westinghouse/Siemens where he later retired.

A man of faith, Harold was a longtime active member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church before moving his membership to Second New Bethel Baptist Church where he continued to serve.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister Brenda (Herbert) Miller; and brother Luther Gordon Jr.

Harold leaves cherished memories to his devoted wife of 45 years, Ruby Gordon; his beloved children, Christie (O'Neale) Brown, Harold (Quiana) Gordon and Darryl Gordon; his cherished grandchildren who lovingly called him "Papa"; Quantae Gordon, Nic Brown, Quijoun Gordon, Quanasia Gordon, Quincin Brown and Gracelyn Gordon.  Harold will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his love for family, and his quiet strength that touched all who knew him.

He is also survived by his loving sisters, Yvonne Williams, Gloria(George) Gray, Beverly (Curtis) Van Eaton; along witha host of nieces, nephews, relative, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm Saturday October 18, 2025 at Second New Bethel Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 12:00pm-12:30pm at the church Saturday. His remains may be viewed Friday October 17, 2025 from 12pm-5pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory Walkertown, NC.
