Helen Hazel Peacock Phillips

Helen Hazel Peacock Phillips, the seventh child of Mary Ruth Smith Peacock and Tumer Peacock was born February 22, 1930 in Johnston County, Clayton North Carolina. God sent an angel to escort to her heavenly home on Thursday, June 11, 2026. Helen was married to her loving husband George M. Sr. until his passing in 2012 for 62 years. To their union was born George M. Jr. (Dorinda), Gregory (Faye) and Mary Helen. Helen and George proudly welcomed and enjoyed their five grandchildren; Tracey Mershawn, Jamal Rashad, Jihan Renee`, Jordan Ashley, Geoffrey Malcom and six great-grandchildren, Joshua, Chloe, Leilani, Carmen, Arian, and Jayce. A home-going celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 20, 2026 at First Baptist Church - Highland Avenue, Winston-Salem, North. Family visitation 11:00 service at 11:30, interment New Evergreen Cemetery.
