Miss Iyionna Monique Sims was born November 2, 2005 to India Brown in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She attended Lowrance Magnet School.

She loved to dance to all types of music. Iyionna loved  her family dearly and loved to taste test many different foods. Her favorite color was purple. She was a lover of stuffed animals. Iyionna's favorite pastime was dressing up with all her sparkley items and being a girly girly.

Iyionna was preceded in death by her grandmother, Juanita Brown; great grandmother, Mary Lanes; great uncles, David Brown, Raymond Brown and Minister Alan Brown; great aunt Evelyn Brown.

She departed this life Wednesday July 20, 2022 at her residence.

She leaves precious memories to her mother, India Brown; 2 sisters, Imonnie, and Iya; one brother Loyal all of the home; three great aunts; and a host of very special cousins who loved her dearly; other relatives and dear friends that loved her as well.

A special thanks  to Ms. Kendra for her dedicated and loving care to Iyionna.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 am Tuesday July 26, 2022 in the chapel of Hooper Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11am-11:30am Tuesday at the funeral home.
