Ms. Jacquelyn Delores Hagins Kirkland was born  October 25, 1938 to the late Ernest and Hester Davis Hagins in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She attended the Winston-Salem Forsyth County public schools.

Ms. Kirkland was a retiree of AT& T Technologies and also Forsyth County Social Services.

Spiritually, she was a devoted member of the Eastside Church of Christ.

She loved children and was a protector of them.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Timothy L. Kirkland; and sisters, Pauline Hagins and Teretha Fowler.

She departed this life Friday October 13, 2023 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center following a period of illness.

She is survived by her devoted son and caregiver, Gerald(Sharon) Kirkland of Rural Hall, NC; a daughter, Debra (Ray) Moore of Kernersville; two grandchildren, Nate' Carolina and Ashleigh(Rajesh) Bhagorat; five great grandchildren; three devoted friends, Theola East, Dierdre Hill and Kathy Woodard; her Eastside Church family; other relatives and friends.

A Service of  Memory will be held 1:00 pm Saturday October 21, 2023 at the Eastside Church of Christ, 536 Barbara Jane Ave Winston-Salem, NC 27101.
