Mr. James Raynard Beasley was born to the late James Lindsay and Dorothy Lee Beasley on June 30, 1946 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He attended the Winston-Salem Forsyth County public schools. Mr. Beasley was of the Baptist faith. He loved working on cars and everyone knew him as their mechanic. He met no strangers. He was a loving father, brother and uncle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Linda Beasley. Mr. Beasley departed this life Thursday March 28, 2024 at the Trellis Supportive Care Center following a period of illness.

He leaves cherished memories to a daughter, Lisa Walker; a son, Eric Scott Kirby; grandchildren, Tonja May, Sonya Moore and Fredrick Moore; grandchildren, Chadderia Smith, Mona Rashwan, Dana Little, Charles Prince, Javante Walker all of Winston-Salem, NC; a host of great grandchildren; a sister, Wanda Beasley; three brothers, Terry Beasley, Carlos Beasley, Farode Beasley all of Winston-Salem, NC; a host of nieces and nephews, including devoted nieces and nephew, Tonja May, Sonya Moore and Fredrick Moore; devoted friends, Maxine Coleman and Mary McCray a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will  be held 12:00 pm Thursday April 4, 2024 in the chapel of Hooper Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11:30am-12:00pm at the funeral home.
