Mr. James Swan Whitley was born October 4, 1945 in Winston-Salem, NC.  Her departed this life on May 24, 2021 in Worcester, MA.

James attended the local public schools and was a graduate of Atkins High School. He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter, Angela; five grandchildren; two stepsons; ten brother; two sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
