Mr. Jerry Renard Reid transitioned into the next life on September 6, 2021 at Blumenthal Nursing and  Rehabilitation Center.  He was born in Winston-Salem, NC on May 5, 1960.  Mr. Reid was educated in the Winston-Salem Forsyth County Public School System and attended R.J. Reynolds High School.

He was employed by Wendy's for over 14 years and was most recently employed at Amazon.

He was a fun loving,  hard working son, brother, father and friend and he will be greatly missed.

Mr. Reid is survived by a daughter Jereka Lane and granddaughter Destiny Lane both of Winston-Salem NC. Son Brandon Payne of Winston-Salem NC.   Daughter Nyesia Wright of Dillon SC. Brothers Michael Reid of Greensboro, NC.  Kelvin Reid Sr. (Penny Reid, sister-in-law) of Huntersville, NC. Sister Tonya Royster of Winston- Salem, NC.  A devoted cousin Bernard McKeever of Winston-Salem, NC.  A host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  He is preceded in death by his father George Andrew Jordan; mother Sarah Margaret Reid and sister Shandra Reid all of Winston Salem, NC.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00pm Friday September 17, 2021 at Hooper Funeral Home
