Mr. Julius Lamont Mitchell was born October 12, 1973 in Winston-Salem North Carolina to Diane D. Mitchell and  Tony Harris He was reared in the home of his great aunt Trudie Mae P. Parson in the Columbia Terrace/Skyline Village community. Later in his midteens, he would form a close bond with his grandmother, Louann Wilson, both who have preceded him in death.

Julius departed this earthly side on December 23, 2021 after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, great aunt, two babies, Julius Lamont Jr. and Kenodra De'Zhane Mitchell, father Tony Harris and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Diane; three sisters LaToya, Kia (Stephon) and Rasheda; brother, Steven; his children, Jumia, Juquarious, Allyce' and Julianna and the treasure and love of family and friends.

A Service of Memory will be held 1:00 pm Thursday December 30, 2021 in the chapel of Hooper Funeral Home.
