Katherine Gloria Little, 78 of Winston-Salem, passed away at home on October 29, 2022, in Richmond, Va.

Katherine was born on December 28, 1943, in Richmond Borough, (Now Manhattan) To Annette Jordon Marks and Ernest Hand Williams.  After Katherine graduated from Columbia Heights High School / Anderson Senior High School, she went on to study at North Carolina A&T State University.

In July of 1993, Katherine retired from Owens-Illinois in Midway Lexington, NC.

Katherine became the loving daughter-in-law of Willie P. and Julia Little in 1964, which blessed her with four sons, Lamard Crawford (Katherine), Anthony (Richella), Joseph Danyale (Dan Hand), Stephen (Angela).

Katherine was called "Kat", by her close friends and family.

She loved the Lord, her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren with all her heart.  She could always be heard bragging about at least one of her offspring to anyone that would listen.  She was known as an avid music lover and an excellent cook.  Whereas, she was called "Kat" by friends and family, she was affectionally called "Kath-o-reen" when she felt it necessary to share her "superpower" of Love, Hope, Faith, and Determination or when she was feeling a little rambunctious. Kat's descendants proudly harness their inner "Kath-o-reen" when needed. When her family achieved milestones whether great or small, she would boast, that's the Kath-o-reen in you!

Kat was predeceased by mother-in-law, Julia J. Little, father-in-law, Willie P. Little, granddaughter, Imani Hand, Sister-in-law and devoted friend Delores Reese, and Sister Raheemah Ali. Kat is survived by sons, Lamard, Anthony, Danyale, and Stephen; Her grandchildren, Latika, Lamard, Lashawnda, Shineeka, Dorez, Anthony, Jr., Tossiyana , Esha (Juan), Erika, Stephanie, Sharon, Jazmyne, JaMeiya, her great grandchildren, and a host of devoted nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be held at Hooper Funeral Home, 1415 E 14th St, Winston-Salem, NC 27105 on November 05, 2022, at 11:00 am.
