Mrs. Kathleen T. Kiser, 79, of Winston-Salem passed away February 16, 2021 in Wake Forest, NC.

She was born July 8, 1941 in Forsyth County, NC to the late Fraizer Thompson and Effie McCorkle. After graduating from Atkins High School, Kathleen attended Winston-Salem State University.

She retired from RJ Reynolds (Research and Development) Tobacco Company with over 30 years of service, in addition to retiring from JC Penney. Kathleen was also a trustee for Second Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Ellis A. Kiser, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Sonya (Clavoski) Peaks of Wake Forest, NC; grandson, Nicholas A. Peaks of Raleigh, NC; sisters, Laverne (Elmer) Hawkins and Swanetta Stowe of Winston-Salem, NC; brothers, Freddie (Donna) Thompson of Newark, NJ and Sheldon Thompson of Winston-Salem, NC; other relatives and friends.

A public viewing will be held 12pm-6pm Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Hooper Funeral Home and a private family memorial will be held Monday, February 22, 2021.
