Kenneth Wayne Inzar, (affectionately known as Kenny), was born September 10, 1965 to the late Rufus Inzar and Miranda Kendrick Inzar. He was a graduate of Parkland High School where he drove the school bus for the Winston Salem Forsyth County Public Schools for a few years. He also worked for the city of W-S, BUDD Services, and St. Phillips Child Care Center for a short time until he became ill.
Kenny was a faithful member of Zion Memorial Missionary Baptist Church for about 14 years where he served on the board of trustees, security, layman league, Sunday School, and Transportation ministry. Kenny loved his church and remained active with his failing health.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Michael Inzar and sister Carolyn Inzar.
Kenny departed this life on Monday, September 2, 2024 at Trellis Supportive Care.
He is survived by his loving wife Cheryl McRae Inzar; three sons Justin Branson, Anthony Ford, and Kenneth Inzar Jr.; brother Rufus Inzar Jr.; two sisters Joann Inzar and Angela Inzar; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm Tuesday September 10, 2024 at Zion Memorial Missionary Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 11am-12pm at the church Tuesday. His remains may be viewed Monday September 9, 2024 from 12pm-6pm at Hooper Funeral Home.
