Mr. Kenneth Norris Jones, also known as "Norris" was the first child born January 15, 1940 in Winston-Salem, NC  to Edwin and Dazelle Jones. He was the brother to Deola, Paulette and Linda Jones. Mr. Jones was a 1958 graduate of Atkins High School. He attended North Carolina A&T State University.

Driven by ambition for a better life, Kenneth moved to New York City and was employed at Chase Manhattan Bank. Later in life he moved back to Winston-Salem and retired from Tyco in the IT Management Department.

In April of 1964 Kenneth married Alfreta Thomas. To this union a son was born, Kenneth N. Jones II. Kenneth has three sons, Michael, Kenneth II and Jeffrey; five grandchildren, Mike Jr., Daniel and Vance, Joshua and Veronica; one great grandchild, Kasir and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Spiritually, he was member of Grace Presbyterian Church where the pastor is Dr. Pamela S Mitchell. He loved music and was a member of the Voices of God's Children at Grace Presbyterian Church and the Twin City Choristers.

A memorial service will be held at 12:30 pm Saturday March 29, 2025 at Zion Memorial Baptist Church, 101 N. Dunleith Avenue.
