Kimberly Michelle Benjamin, daughter of Barbara Benjamin and the late Samuel Benjamin, was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on July 9, 1961. She departed this life on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at her residence.

Kim was an avid reader who loved to cook, garden, and spend time with her growing family. Her beautiful spirit and outgoing personality were a blessing to everyone around her.  Her infectious laugh, big heart, and warm vibes drew people in for life. Although she is no longer with us here on earth, her memory will remain active in our hearts forever and she will forever be known as Mama Kim to many.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her father, Samuel Benjamin.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her dedicated mother, Barbara Benjamin; her two devoted daughters Dawanna Benjamin and Dawna Benjamin; her two treasured grandsons Kaleel Benjamin and Elijah Turner; two brothers, Andre (Marilyn) Benjamin, and Cedric (Lucille) Benjamin; and her two sisters, Constance Poe, and Petra Benjamin.

Kim has a host of nieces and nephews she loved dearly along with a multitude of relatives and friends.

Per her request there will be no public viewing or funeral service.
