Lavone Christopher Campbell, Jr. (aka) "Chris" was born September 2, 1997 in Winston-Salem North Carolina to Christopher and Sheryre Bostic Campbell. He attended the Winston-Salem Forsyth county schools and was a 2016 graduate of Robert B. Glenn High School. Chris was a basketball player for AAU and at Glenn High School. He was employed at Chars Hamburger of the city. Spiritually, he was a member of First Baptist Church-Highland Avenue.

Chris was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Clarke and Christine Campbell; maternal grandmother Mary Q. Bostic; two uncles Keith Caldwell and Marvin Gladden; two aunts, Esther Crayton and Latonya Bostic.

He departed this life Sunday September 8, 2019 at Lake Norman, NC.

He leaves not to mourn but cherish memories his parents, Lavone  C. Sr. and Sheryre Campbell of the home; one sister, Nakeisha Giles of the city; maternal grandfather, Willie Bostic; six uncles; seven aunts; nieces and nephews; great aunts and great uncles; two devoted cousins who were close as brothers, Kerry and Kory Campbell; and a host of other cousins, friends, and admirers.

A memorial service will be held at 12 noon Friday September 13, 2019 at First Baptist Church 700 North Highland Avenue. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am-12 noon at the church.
