Lillian Bernice Tillery Davis, 91, was born February 12, 1930 to Journest and Annie Lyons Tillery in Enfield, North Carolina. She transitioned to her heavenly home peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, May 16, 2021.

Mrs. Davis graduated from Carver High School in 1951. She also attended Forsyth Technical School where she was trained as a Licenced Practical Nurse. Mrs. Davis worked at Katie B. Reynolds Hospital and retired from Forsyth Hospital. In her latter years, she worked at Brookridge Retirement Community. She was a dedicated member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church. She was preceded in her death by her husband Robert L. Davis, her father Journest Tillery and her mother Annie Tillery.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Robette Davis and Vera Johnson; grandchildren Quaneisha Smith (Jasper), Karla Goddard (Vandy), Crystal Graham (Cory), Rah'Shun Davis and Camisha Johnson; great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; a loving sister Mary Pauling (Cleotus) and a devoted brother Odell Tillery (Barbara);  and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and family friends.  The Davis family would like to express a special thanks and appreciation to Trellis Supportive Care.

A public viewing will be held Friday May 21, 2021 from 12pm-6pm at Hooper Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM-12:00 noon at St. Andrews United Methodist Church on Saturday May 22, 2021.  The funeral Service will follow at 12:00 noon.  Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
