Obituary

Lisa Yvette Dowell was born on March 4, 1959, in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, to Josephine Hunt Jones and the late Charles Dowell.

Lisa was known for her confidence, determination, and strong personality. She was never afraid to speak her mind and brought warmth, strength, and authenticity wherever she went.

She attended North Forsyth High School in Winston-Salem and continued her education at Florida Memorial University and Salem College.

Lisa built a successful career in sales, primarily within the healthcare and retail industries. She was respected for her professionalism, dedication, and her ability to build lasting relationships with those she served.

Lisa had a strong relationship with God and found comfort and strength in His Word. Bible verses and words of encouragement were always close to her heart, reflecting the faith she carried throughout her life.

She had a passion for interior decorating and gardening and was especially known for her beautiful holiday table settings. Whether decorating a home or choosing an outfit, Lisa had an eye for beauty and took pride in creating elegance in everyday life. Lisa also loved the beach and found peace and happiness near the water.

Above all, Lisa loved her family and friends deeply. She especially cherished her mother, her sons, and her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. Her love, strength, and unwavering devotion will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Lisa leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Josephine Hunt Jones; her sons, Shaun (Cameron) Shore and Stephen Shore and his fiancée, April; her grandchildren, Lashaun, Autumn, Tatum, Elijah, and Isiah Shore; her siblings, Lynn, Joanne, Michael, Craig (Tammy), and Charles; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and loving friends.

Lisa’s legacy will live on through the faith she carried, the love she shared, and the beautiful memories she leaves behind.
