Ms. Lois Harden was born February 6, 1949 in Eatonton, Georgia to the late M.B. and Marion Evans Harden. She was a resident of Winston-Salem for most of her life where she attended the Fourteenth Street School and Atkins High School.

Ms. Harden was a retiree of the Winston-Salem Forsyth County public schools. Spiritually, she was a faithful and dedicated member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church where she served as deaconness, on the usher board and a willing worker for the church. She also served in other areas of housekeeping for the church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Cynthia Harden and brother, Joe Lee Harden; and a special devoted friend, Deacon Robert L. Jackson.  Ms. Harden departed this life Friday March 15, 2024 at Liberty Commons.

She leaves cherished memories to her two sons, Willie Earl (China) Harden and Kevin L.(Ivory) Harden all of Winston-Salem, NC; grandchildren, Chastity Ellison, Tameka Hayes, Michael Hayes, Rayshawn Ingram, Kevin Harden Jr., Jonathan McCall, Kenard Harden, NaTaja Harden, Jasmine Wilkerson, caregiver/granddaughter, Bernasha Young and Shelton Davis, Jr.; a host of great grandchildren; brothers, Artolia (Ella Bell) Harden, Carl B. (Judy) Harden; sister, Tammy H. Moore; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews including a special nephew whom she raised; Anthony(Lacey) Harden and his family Taylor & DaMaya; and a host of other dedicated relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday March 30, 2024 at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. Interment Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm-2:00 pm Saturday March 30, 2024 at the church.
