Lynette Miller Dendy 66, of Winston Salem, NC departed this life unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at her home. She was born August 11, 1954 to Josephine Miller McLean and Willie Lee Johnson (both deceased).

"Lynn" as she was known by many, was a graduate of Parkland High School, Forsyth Technical Community College, and Winston Salem State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She retired in 2018 from Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center with over 40 years of service.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Dendy; daughter, Tamia Miller Glenn; brother, Michael McLean; maternal grandmother, Willie Mae Miller; and aunt, Theresa Miller Battle.

She leaves to cherish fond memories: 3 grandsons who were the loves of her life, Qorticha, Bryson, and Nyle Glenn; a son-in-law, Qorticha Glenn, Sr.; 2 sisters, Peggy Miller Williams and Michelle McLean Jackson; a brother, Ronald Miller; a stepdaughter, LaShon Dendy (Jon) along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
