Mrs. Mable Lee Dozier Pendergrass, 88 years young, got her heavenly wings Friday, December 16, 2022.

Born to Hilliard Wilson and Bessie Thomas Dozier April 28, 1934, Mable was the oldest of sixteen children educated in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth Co. schools. She was employed for 35 years at Atrium Health Wake Forest Medical Center.

Mable leaves three children to represent and continue her legacy: Anthony Rutherford of the home, Regina James of Durham, NC, and Dietra Rutherford of Winston-Salem, NC; eighteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty Archie of Virginia; three brothers, James Dozier of Virginia, John Robert Dozier of Raleigh, NC and Haywood Dozier of Rocky Mount, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, and Godchildren, and friends.

Mable leaves a very special message " Yea though I walk through the valley of shadow of Death". "Then I know I would have done my Best"

Funeral services will be held 12:30 pm Friday December 23, 2022 at the Linville Forest Church of Christ. The family will receive friends from 12:00pm-12:30pm at the church. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. Her remains may be viewed Thursday December 22,2022 from  12pm-6pm at the funeral home.
