Ms. Mary Alice Morrison Harris was born December 13, 1928 in Rockingham County, North Carolina. She was a resident of Winston-Salem, most of her life. Spiritually, she was a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the nursing board.

In her spare time, Ms. Harris loved fishing, planting and attending to her flowers as well finding four leaf clovers. She was a very peaceful person who loved being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Nathaniel Harris; son, Charles Lee Morrison; grandson, Travis McQueen, and all her siblings.

Ms. Harris departed this life Thursday September 19, 2024 at Trinity Glen Nursing Home.

She leaves cherished memories to her son, Robert (Eleanor) Morrison of the home; two grandchildren, Tammy Morrison and Robert(Tiffany) Morrison Jr. all of Winston-Salem, NC; three great grandchildren, Jerrae, Shaheed, and Matthew; one great great grandchild; Kamdynn; a special neighbor, Ms. Mason; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Service of Memory will be held 1:00pm Saturday October 5, 2024 in the chapel of Hooper Funeral Home.
