Mary Lillie Williams was born July 1, 1944 to the late Otis T. Sr. and Isabell Jackson Williams, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

She was a lifelong resident of Winston-Salem where she attended the Winston-Salem Forsyth County public schools. Ms. Williams was a retiree of Wachovia Bank and Trust with over 35 years of service.

Spiritually, she was a faithful member of Solid Rock Baptist Church.

Ms. Williams loved to sing and participate in bible study. She loved to cook and was loved by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter,   Doris T. Williams and two brothers, Robert Lee Williams and Otis T. Williams Jr.  She departed this life Thursday December 25, 2025 at the Waterside Rehabilitation Center in Norfolk, VA.

She leaves cherished memories to her daughter, LaTanja M. Edwards of the home; two grandchildren, Alexis Nicole Edwards and Anthony Levon Ford; three great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Wednesday January 7, 2026 in the chapel of Hooper Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11:30 am-12:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens.
