Mr. McArthur Williams, born on October 10, 1951, in Darlington, South Carolina, to the late Joseph Sr. and Elizabeth Robinson Williams, passed away on August 29, 2026, at Trinity Glen Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. A graduate of the Darlington County public schools, McArthur devoted his career to the Winston-Salem Convalescent Center until his health declined.

An avid sports enthusiast, McArthur cherished his role as an uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Betty Johnson, Janie Brown, Joseph Williams Jr., and Lyndell Williams.

McArthur leaves behind treasured memories with siblings Martha Reynolds, Judy Pratt, Christine Williams, Randolph Williams, and Elvira Robinson; aunts Betty Robinson and Ruth Baker; sister-in-law Loleeta Williams; and a wide circle of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Oaklawn Memorial Park. His remains may be viewed on Monday, September 7, 2026 from 12pm-5pm.
