Sadly our sister, Melaine Salley left us on July 7, 2023 following a brief illness at the age of 62.  She was born July 16, 1960 to her parents, Joseph Salley Sr. and Dorothy Murray Salley in Winston-Salem, NC. Melaine was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy, by living their lives to the fullest as she did.

The simple pleasures in life brought the greatest joy to Melaine. She loved spending time with her family and friends and shopping, just to name a few.  She had the ability to find happiness in her everyday activities. Her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone that she met.

Melaine is survived by three sisters, Tanya Johnson, Charissa Green, and Deidris Reynolds; four brothers, Alvin Murray, Joseph Salley Jr. (Peggy), Christopher Salley, and Charles (Parcilla) Salley; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends

A homegoing service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday July 15, 2023 at Konnoak Hills Moravian Church, 3401 Konnoak Drive Winston-Salem, NC. Interment will follow in Salem Moravian God's Acre Graveyard, 412 Rams Drive WS NC. The family will receive friends 1:40pm-2:00pm on Saturday.
